"5 Fat-Busting Myths EXPOSED"
Are you FED UP with the old DIET INDUSTRY?
Yes, you CAN lose weight!
New scientific studies prove that eating FAT does NOT make you FAT. Actually, “fat is filling” according to Suzanne Ryan—author of Simply Keto and Beyond Simply Keto—and I totally agree. Eating fat keeps you satiated and that means your brain realizes it’s NOT missing out on anything. Therefore zero cravings occur because you're satisfied mentally and physically.
I can now eat bacon and eggs and sausage and NOT feel guilty about it. Please read Gary’s book; it explains WHY we can and should be eating foods like our grandparents did. Bacon. Eggs. Real butter. You see, fats are naturally low in carbs (many fats contain little to zero carbs). Keep reading to see why this is important!
Carbs can be misleading; we think ALL carbohydrates are sweet. They’re not. Wheat and white flour are loaded with it—and flour is NOT sweet, as you know. White potatoes also aren't sweet and are full of carbs. Most fruits are sweet, and that makes sense to us, carb-wise because fruits are naturally sweet.
But
IF you ARE a diabetic, you have to get a grip on your carbohydrate intake. So,
it’s bye-bye fruit. Fear not if you’ve got a sweet tooth; as mentioned in Part 1 of this 3-Part series, there are killer brownie recipes AND a blueberry mug muffin recipe in Suzanne Ryan's Simply Keto that you DON’T need to die for.
Both the Brownie and Blueberry Muffin photos (shown below) are made by me by using Suzanne's recipes from Simply Keto.
I’ve been Keto for over a year and have lost a whopping 40+ lbs without feeling like I’m “missing out” on the old foods I used to eat such as bread, ice cream, etc.
Speaking of bread: YOU MUST get your hands on ThinSlim Foods variety of zero net carb breads.
They are delicious, filling, and won't weigh you down. The reason these breads are good is because of their fiber content.
Fiber neutralizes sugar-spikes associated with regular bread (and other carb-laden starchy foods) and with 14g of fiber per serving in 2 slices of ThinSlim Foods bread, the fiber makes their breads zero net carbs!!!
Read why net carbs are important and how to count them HERE.
Just look at all these Keto-friendly sweet treats!
Please NOTE: I'm NOT saying you should eat all things sweet OR stop eating all things sweet. Realistically, that's probably been our downfall in the past, right? Satisfying that sweet tooth... well, now you can with ThinSlim Foods sweet treats!
You should be as excited as all get out about starting a Keto diet. Why? Because it works. And quickly too. I’ve averaged a pound a week in weight loss. For the record, I’m only 5’-1/2” tall… so I can’t eat as many calories as a “regular-sized/height” woman of, say, 5’-5”… I’m sure a larger lady would lose weight at a faster speed! Check out my Weight Loss Progress Chart here!
All your macros are figured out for you inside of Cronometer. Read more about Cronometer here in Part 1 of this 3-part series.

Going "Keto" is only as hard as you make it. I tire of reading that it’s “hard” starting a Keto diet—and staying on it. What’s hard about eating your favorite formally fat-banned foods and eating Keto sweet treats that are Keto-friendly?
OK, at first, if you find it difficult to reduce to 13 NET carbs a day (that was my Cronometer recommendation for my height, age, and weight), aim for 20 NET carbs. That’s what I am aiming for.
Read more about how to calculate the all-important NET CARBS here.
If people think it’s “hard”… maybe they’re still hankering after bread. Fair enough. As mentioned above, that’s why I’ve been eating ThinSlim Rye Bread and "Everything Bread"… you can make fabulous BLT’s and have ZERO guilt and zero net carbs (bread-wise).
Realizing you have to give up sugar-laden sweets can be gut-wrenching. But NOT ANYMORE! That's why I provided you with that long list of keto sweet treats that you CAN consume!
Sometimes it's ice cream that we miss. Not so much now with the Keto sweet treats we'll discuss below.
Read on...
Get your fill of Keto sweet treats by buying the “Enlightened” brand of KETO ice creams. I’m actually sat here eating Keto-friendly Peanut Butter Fudge Ice cream by Enlightened… it’s dang delicious!
Another Keto-friendly brand to try: Rebel and the flavor shown on the right is Triple Chocolate.
I get both the Enlightened and Rebel ice cream brands from our Publix grocery store (in Florida). They cost the same per pint (just under six bucks). I'm pretty sure they'll be available in your neck of the woods, too.
Both pint-sized goodies are great Keto sweet treats and do an admirable job of making sure you're NOT feeling like you're missing out on ice cream! No cravings and your sweet-tooth is satisfied, which means you're NOT missing out on anything.
PS—Publix had BOGO Enlightened Ice Cream Bars (needless to say my freezer drawer is now stuffed with these delicious bars). The bars are easy to eat—you don't have to have them sit out to thaw out before you can eat 'em like you do with the pint cartons!
YES, we CAN have our Keto sweet treats and lose weight to boot! See my Weight Loss Progress Chart here!
