I was really pleased with how light and fully (yet just the right crispiness) they were. You know what it's like when you try 'diet food.' You are half-prepared to be disappointed. NOT SO with these waffles! (Thanks, Linda - at Linda's Diet Delites).

Make Your Own Whipped Cream

If you can't get to the store to pick up some of the Reddi Wip zero sugar 'Keto Friendly' whipped cream, then whip up your own.

The cream took only 45 seconds to stiffen on 2nd from highest speed using my KitchenAid hand mixer.

Make Your Own Whipped Cream
Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 1/2 teaspoon clear vanilla
  • 1 level tablespoon of Swerve

The ingredients above make three portions of whipped cream. (Scroll a little farther down for full recipe ingredients).

I used this handy-dandy mixer below. It's rechargeable and cordless. Best thing I bought last year!

  • 1 oz Cary's Syrup

How To Make
Keto Waffles

  1. Pop the Waffle in your toaster and toast to desired crispness (I just did the usual 'toast' setting)
  2. Warm up 1 oz Cary's Syrup (per person, per waffle) in the microwave (5-10 seconds, max)
  3. Top the toasted-waffle with one portion of the whipped cream and syrup
  4.  ... go find a comfy chair, sit back, and enjoy this delicious low-carb keto-friendly waffle breakfast!
